Within the first hour of this interactive class, you will be on your feet presenting, receiving feedback, and learning how to handle anxiety. This class covers writing and delivering a presentation from beginning to end, with a focus on how to write engaging openings and powerful closings. Whether you regularly present operational reviews, make proposals, communicate to clients, or motivate entire teams, iSpeak’s Corporate Ovations™ for Business Professionals will teach you to quickly gain attention, build credibility, and deliver your message with skill using the Corporate Ovations Process for Presenting. Wonder how the audience sees you? You’ll have the answer because you will leave with videos of your presentations on an SD Card. This workshop is taught by a professional speaker who provides live coaching and feedback.
You’ve already learned a process for developing presentations that engage your audience. Now, you want to bring the dry facts of your presentation to life and work on translating your plain data into exciting, persuasive, and memorable information. Message Builder™ moves beyond the overall process and structure of a presentation and dives deeply into how to illustrate your key points. In this workshop, you will work on one of your own presentations to build a message by using devices such as metaphors, audience involvement, visuals, stories, and comparisons. You will also develop the four key stories every business professional should be able to tell. You’ll leave with your videos and you'll also receive live coaching to polish any rough edges.
Illustrate your content in ways that will gain attention and make it memorable. Leverage the use of visual aid design techniques and a storytelling model to engage your audience. You will develop a corporate presentation to be more interactive and visually appealing to your audience. Create more succinct and powerful visual aids using design techniques. Create engaging visual aids using less. Engage and reflect on the use of PowerPoint.
A spontaneous presentation is applying a proven process and structure with very little time to prepare. Thinking on your feet is put into practice here! Enhance your professional presence and improve your perception by the audience by aligning all three channels of communication (visual, verbal, vocal). Students will practice using the ARR (Acknowledge, Repeat, Respond) method for answering questions. Students will learn to communicate a concise and organized message. You will be video recorded multiple times and you'll receive live coaching to help you think on your feet.
